Cocaine Found In Milk, Custard Powder Bags Inside Woman's Luggage At JFK

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A woman traveling from Guyana is facing drug smuggling charges for allegedly using a unique trick to sneak cocaine into the country.

Customs agents at John F. Kennedy International Airport searched the Tricia Ann D'Aguiar's luggage after a police dog got a whiff of the drugs. Inside, agents say they found the cocaine inside bags of milk and custard powder.

Police seized about 13 pounds of cocaine, which they say has a street value of about $230,000.
