12/11 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening!

Hope your day has been a good one.  There is only one band of snow over our area right now, stretching from Sandy Hook, New Jersey, all the way back to Pennsylvania.

Anyone traveling through the middle of the state in the next few hours should be aware of lowered visibility for a brief period.  Other than that, the skies are starting to open up again. I actually saw a peek or two of sunshine today-- it's been a while. However, it's still cold out there. The wind isn't helping. Real feel temps are still in the 20s and dipping lower overnight.

Tomorrow will be a much brighter day.  There will be some clouds around tomorrow, especially north, but sun should reveal itself north by the day's end.  Saturday will bring even more sunshine-- even a few more degrees. Sunday and Monday will feel like we're out of the effects of the Nor'easter, finally.

Next week is much quieter with temps near normal (mid 40s).  Check back in tomorrow for the latest!
