12/26: CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good afternoon everyone,

It's a nice day out there with mostly sunny skies and an afternoon high of 50 in the city. Mostly clear tonight, with lows in the upper 30s for New York City and upper 20s for the far north-west suburbs. These temps are running about 10 degrees above normal for today.

This trend continues right into tomorrow, with another sunny day. Slightly warmer, with highs in the low 50s for your Saturday.

After that, Sunday will bring the next chance of some showers as a cold front approaches. Mostly cloudy, with highs in the upper 40s.

Behind the front, temps drop back down for next week and into the new year. It'll definitely feel more like winter around here soon. But for now, enjoy the mild weather this weekend!
