12/27 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good afternoon,

Be sure to get outside and enjoy today! There is certainly going to be plenty of sun and temps will reach the low to mid 50s. We're going for a high of 54 in the city, which is almost 15 degrees above normal. Clouds will be on the increase tonight, and temps will bottom out in the low 40s.

Tomorrow looks to be a cloudy day as a cold front moves through. Expect some showers during the day, but nothing like what we saw earlier this week... they'll generally be light. Cooler overnight Sunday into Monday, with lows in the mid to upper 30s.

Monday we'll see more seasonal like temps, with highs around 40 under a mix of sun and clouds. There is a very slight chance a storm system passing to our south could throw a stray sprinkle or flurry our way, but absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

It's looking much colder to kick off the new year, with highs in the 30s and barely breaking the freezing mark on New Year's Eve. Dry conditions though, so that's always good!
