1 Teen Killed, 1 Wounded When Gunman Fires Into Livery Cab In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One teen was killed and another injured Monday in a shooting inside a livery cab in East New York, Brooklyn.

The young men, ages 18 and 19, were sitting in the livery cab opposite 29 McClancy Pl. in Brooklyn, when two men walked up and one of them opened fire, police said.

The 19-year-old was struck in the torso, the 18-year-old in the shoulder, police said.

The driver of the livery cab rushed the pair to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where the older teen – Aaron Parkinson of Brooklyn – was pronounced dead, police said.

The younger teen was treated and released.

As of late Monday, there were no arrests and the investigation continued.
