Crash Involving MTA Bus Injures 25 People In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An MTA bus collided with a car in East Flatbush Wednesday afternoon, injuring 25 people.

The accident involving the B46 bus happened at Utica Avenue and Clarendon Road just before 4:30 p.m.

Witnesses told 1010 WINS a car pulling out of a parking lot hit a BMW, which then slammed into the bus.

Of the 25 injured, three people are critical, three are serious and the others are considered to be minor, EMS officials said.

Fifteen of the injured were on the bus, including the bus driver, CBS2 reported. None of the individuals on the bus are considered to have life-threatening injuries.

The victims were taken to Kings County and Brookdale hospitals, 1010 WINS reported.

There's no word yet on what caused the crash.
