11/16 CBS2 Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis, CBS2 Meteorologist
Weekday Morning Weather Producer

Winds are picking up this afternoon as we see the approach/passage of our next cold front. It may touch off a few snow showers in the process, but we're not expecting any accumulation. Skies will be mixed for the remainder of the day with temperatures falling off to near freezing by sunset. High of about 38°.

It will remain blustery into this evening with skies clearing up nicely. As for temperatures, well, they're going to tumble a bit. Expect a morning low of 16° (about 15° colder than this morning) with a wind chill at sunrise near 0°!

We're stuck in the freezer tomorrow... won't even reach 30°! It will, however, be sunny and calmer.

Low pressure to our south will approach on Sunday. Rain will fill in during the day (could be heavy at times) and temperatures will bounce back nicely into the mid 40s. The rain should rap up by mid to late evening.

We'll clear up just in time for M.L.K. Jr. Day... a slightly cooler high around 40°.
