Police: 2 Suspects Follow, Attempt To Rob 80-Year-Old In Flatbush
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The search is on for two suspects wanted for following and attempting to rob an 80-year-old woman in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
Police say the two suspects followed the woman into a building near Ocean Avenue and Church Avenue around 3:10 p.m. on January 16. Once they were inside the building, police say the suspects followed the woman onto the elevator and demanded her property.
The woman refused, to which the two took her purse from around her neck, causing her to fall on the ground. The thieves left empty-handed.
