Report: 'Cannibal Cop' Seeking Nonjudgmental Woman, According To Online Dating Profile

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - One might think Gilberto Valle would keep a low profile after a judge threw out his conviction for an online plot to kidnap, cook and eat women.

But instead, he has popped up with a dating profile on Match.com, found and published by the New York Post.

'Report: 'Cannibal Cop' Seeking Nonjudgmental Woman, According To Online Dating Profile

Valle, who left prison, vowed "cannibal cop" would not be his legacy, but once again he was online, reportedly listing cooking as his favorite hobby, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reported.

His dating profile says he is seeking a woman 24-32 who is nonjudgmental and "a little kinky," Cornell reported.

Valle reportedly fled from the Post reporter who showed up to his doorstep to ask him about this latest online venture.

Throughout his trial, jurors heard evidence that he conversed online with strangers about killing and cooking his wife and others in a cannibalism plot.

"It was my fault for doing all of this," Valle told reporters, including CBS2's Andrea Grymes. "My actions were so stupid."

"That's not who I really am," he said. "People who know me the best know that. I had a lot of support from people who knew me my whole life who never believed these allegations."
