2/6 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Headlines
by Justin Lewis, Meteorologist
Expect a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to get into the mid 20s; wind chills will peak at 15-20°.
Another cold one is on tap tonight, but it won't be as harsh as last night. Quiet with a low around 22°.
Flurries and snow showers will travel across our northern suburbs tomorrow. As for the southern half of the area, expect partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be 10-15° warmer... upper 30s.
The models are hinting at a break in the action Saturday night through Sunday morning... this will have to be monitored closely over the weekend... with a mixed bag of precipitation returning to the northern/western half of the area Sunday afternoon. Then, from Sunday night into Monday, low pressure will pass just to our south and deliver a light accumulation of snow across our northern counties with some mixing possible across our southern counties.
We'll have more details in the days to come. Enjoy your weekend!
