NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Looking for a break from the cold?

Head over to Herald Square where models featured in the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue are heating things up at "Swim City."

The two-day festival celebrates the release of the annual issue, which hit newsstands Monday.

There was a line of guys in the freezing rain outside the tent with cameras ready to get pictures and autographs from their favorite swimsuit models, 1010 WINS' Sonia Rincon reported.

"It's fantastic," said Martin, who is visiting from Boston. "I was just walking by, heard the music outside, saw 'Swimsuit Issue' and said, 'We should go in there!'"

Jessica Gomes, one of the models featured in the swimsuit edition for the eighth year, flew in from Australia for the event.

"I'm getting used to this cold weather," Gomes said. "We're steaming it up here, we're definitely keeping everybody warm."

"It's so exciting just to see all of our pictures and see everybody," said model Kate Bock, who was seeing the issue for the first time at the event. "When I first walked into the tent, I just ran right to it and wanted to open it and see what was there."

The models -- wearing dresses, not bikinis -- posed with fans in front of summery backdrops.

The event also features a table where a fan can sit down and play Connect Four with one of the ladies.
