Police: Man Took 2 Sons In Violation Of Custody Agreement In Hopatcong

HOPATCONG, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- New Jersey State and Hopatcong local police were searching for a man who allegedly took his two sons and fled the state in violation of a custody agreement.

Kristopher Dohm, 36, was suspected of removing his two sons, Parker and Jaxon Dohm, state police said.

Dohm was described as a 36-year-old white male standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Parker is 8 years old, stands 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds, and Jaxon is 7 years old, stands 4 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. Both also have brown hair and brown eyes, state police said.

State police believe Dohm might have altered his appearance and that of his boys by cutting their hair.

He was believed to have taken the boys in a 2009 gray Nissan Pathfinder with New Jersey license plate S17CKV.

No AMBER Alert was issued late Tuesday.
