2/11 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Hello, all!
Today felt pretty nice again! Although we only topped off in to 30s today, the warm sun felt great! Actually, many towns topped off in the 20s.
Tonight, some clouds filter in ahead of a weak clipper system that will give most of us a coating to an inch. On Long Island, a brief interaction with a system offshore could produce maybe 2 inches on the east end.
A brutally cold day is in store for Friday. A very cold piece of arctic air slides down across the Great Lakes. Wake up temps will be in the single digits all the way down to NYC. If you're living north and west, expect to have some of the coldest air in years. Wake up temps below zero will be felt with the real feel: -20°.
Another snow chance is possible this weekend.
Check back in soon for the latest.
