CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By  Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Mostly to partly sunny the remainder of the afternoon. A colder high in the low 30s.

Cold tonight with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Low in the low to mid 20s.

Snow showers push in tomorrow morning (especially after the rush). The snow will be on and off and end by the late afternoon and early evening hours. Snow totals will range from a trace to 2".

It turns bitterly cold on Friday... wake up wind chills will be around -5° in the city. We'll see a good amount of sunshine throughout the day, but it will only warm us into the upper teens. And with a persistent wind blowing out of the north and west, the wind chill will never get above 5°.

We're looking at another chance of snow come Valentine's Day. As of now, it looks like the snow holds off until the afternoon and evening hours around here... possibly starting earlier N&W... with snow through the evening and overnight hours.
