Home ice has been good to the New Jersey Devils, who have won three in a row and are 10-2-3 in their last 15 games at Prudential Center.

The Devils, who will play three home games this week, defeated Carolina, 3-1, Saturday night in New Jersey. Keith Kinkaid did not allow a goal in the win, although he was not in the game when it ended, having been relieved by Cory Schneider after being injured with just over six minutes left to play in the second period.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it was the fifth time in franchise history that a Devils starting goaltender recorded a win in a game in which he did not give up a goal but also shared playing time with another netminder.

Here are those five games:

· 2/21/15: Keith Kinkaid Car 1 at NJD 3, 33:59 (Schneider)

· 2/6/11: Martin Brodeur NJD 4 at Mtl 1, 20:00 (Hedberg)

· 11/1/08: Martin Brodeur Atl 1 at NJD 6, 26:38 (Weekes)

· 11/9/96: Martin Brodeur NYI 0 at NJD 4, 59:19 (Dunham)

· 12/4/83: Ron Low Det 0 at NJD 6, 23:00 (Resch)

Mike Cammalleri scored his 19th and 20th goals of the season for the Devils in their 4-2 win over the Canucks Friday night in Newark. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Cammalleri, who signed with New Jersey as a free agent last summer, is only the third player in the last 18 years to score 20 or more goals in his first season with the Devils.

The other New Jersey newcomers to do that since 1996-97 were Jeff Friesen (23 goals in 2002-03) and Jaromir Jagr (24 goals in 2013-14). Petr Sykora also reached the 20-goal mark in his return to the Devils in 2011-12.

Here is the list of players acquired during the offseason who scored 20 or more goals in their first full seasons (regardless of stint) with the New Jersey Devils:

· Sylvain Turgeon: 1989-90, 30 goals
· Claude Lemieux: 1990-91, 30 goals
· Stephane Richer: 1991-92, 29 goals
· Steve Thomas: 1995-96 26, goals
· Jaromir Jagr: 2013-14, 24 goals
· Mel Bridgman: 1983-84, 23 goals
· Jeff Friesen: 2002-03, 23 goals

· Mark Johnson: 1985-86, 21 goals
· Petr Sykora: 2011-12, 21 goals
· Bobby Holik: 1992-93 20 goals
· Corey Millen: 1993-94, 20 goals
· Mike Cammalleri: 2014-15, 20 goals

Schneider tied his career high for wins in a season with 20, thanks to his 2-1 shootout victory against the Sabres last Tuesday night at Prudential Center.

Schneider, who won 20 games for the Canucks in 2011-12, is only the second New Jersey goaltender other than Martin Brodeur to record 20 or more wins in one season over the last 20 years.

Since 1994-95, the only other Devils goaltender not named Brodeur to post 20 or more wins in a season is Scott Clemmensen, who won 25 games for New Jersey in 2008-09.

Here are the Devils goalies who have posted at least one 20-win season for New Jersey:

· Martin Brodeur: 16 (1993-94, 1995-96 through 2007-08, 2010-11 through 2012)
· Chris Terreri: 3 (1990-91, 1991-92 and 1993-94)
· Sean Burke: 2 (1988-89 and 1989-90)
· Craig Billington: 1 (1992-93)
· Alain Chevrier: 1 (1986-87)
· Scott Clemmensen: 1 (2008-09)
· Cory Schneider: 1 (2014-15)

Ex-Devil Brian Gionta did not have a point in New Jersey's win over Buffalo, but the Sabres captain reached the 500-point mark for his career with a goal in his next game against Philadelphia.

Gionta is the 14th player drafted by New Jersey to record 500 or more points in his NHL career:

· Brendan Shanahan: (1987, round 1) 1,354

· Pat Verbeek: (1982, round 3) 1,063

· Patrik Elias: (1994, round 2) 1,008

· Bill Guerin: (1989, round 1) 856

· John MacLean: (1983, round 1) 842

· Brian Rolston: (1991, round 1) 761

· Steve Sullivan: (1994, round 9) 747

· Scott Niedermayer: (1991, round 1) 740

· Scott Gomez (1998, round 1) 735

· Petr Sykora: (1995, round 1) 721

· Brendan Morrison: (1993, round 2) 601

· Zach Parise: (2003, round 1) 550

· Brian Gionta: (1998, round 3) 501

Schwei's Plus/Minus:

Plus: Scott Gomez -- He collected an assist on Tuomo Ruutu's goal vs. Carolina, the 472nd point of his Devils career, tying Bobby Holik for fifth all time in team history. Gomez is also just two assists behind John MacLean (354) for third place on the Devils' career list.

Minus: One or None -- Including 2-1 shootout wins, the Devils have scored one goal or fewer in 22 of their 59 games this season.
