3/6 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

Hello everyone.

Today is pretty cold, but it really doesn't feel that bad. We can thank the sun as its rising angle allows for more radiation to hit us! Even some melting is happening today.

More melting will hit us this weekend with days in the 40s. Monday and Tuesday are in the 40s, Wednesday and Thursday near 50. Finally a little thaw-- we need it too.

The snowpack is pretty deep around here. We need a few days in the 50s so we can really keep it moving. We will have some chilly starts in the upper 20s and low 30s, but the sun will be feeling nice by afternoon.
