NYPD: Officers Shoot Armed Man In Downtown Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A police-involved shooting in Brooklyn overnight sent three people to the hospital.

Police were still on the scene at Bridge and Nassau streets in Downtown Brooklyn Saturday morning after a man allegedly pulled a gun on two officers.

Investigators said around 1 a.m. officers were notified of a man with a gun outside club Amarachi on Bridge Street, CBS2's Ilana Gold reported.

Upon the officers' arrival, the man pulled a weapon from his waistband and refused orders from the officers to drop his gun, police said.

The officers fired four shots, striking the 34-year-old suspect in the lower torso and grazing his left arm.
