Mother Calls For Justice After Son Beaten By Group Of Teens In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Brooklyn mother is outraged after her teenage son was victim to an attack by a group of teens behind the Atlantic Mall Tuesday evening.
"I want them to be in jail, I want them to suffer like my son is suffering," said Dahlia Espada. "Nobody deserves to get jumped. Nobody deserves to get beat down in these streets."

Espada said her 14-year-old son was beaten up by as many as six young men near the corner of Hanson Place and South Elliot Place while walking to a subway station in Fort Greene, CBS2's Steve Langford reported.
"They grabbed him by his hoodie and his jacket and threw him on the floor," Espada said. "They came from behind him and they threw him on the floor and they started kicking him."
She said her son's arm is broken in two places, 1010 WINS' Holli Haerr reported.
The attack happened between 6 and 7 p.m., apparently still daylight, but the young victim said he doesn't remember seeing any witnesses, Langford reported.
Community activist Tony Herbert said there are too many violent incidents lately involving groups of young teens, including the attack on off-duty officers in Bensonhurst and the videotaped beating of a girl at a Brooklyn McDonald's.
"This is not far from the knock game issue we dealt with before," said Herbert. "They think this is fun, they think it's entertainment. It's not. This is serious. You can kill somebody with this stupidity."
Police sources told CBS2 the victim has no known gang affiliations and no prior arrests.
So far, there have been no arrests in Tuesday's attack. Police said they are investigating.
