Police: 3 Suspects Robbed 2 Delivery Men In Separate Incidents In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding three men who they say are robbing Chinese food delivery men in the Bronx.

Police said there were two robberies fitting a similar pattern Wednesday in the Morrisania section of the borough.

Both times, police said three men ordered food and when the delivery man arrived, they pulled a gun on the victim.

The first robbery occurred around 4:30 p.m. at 1211 Southern Blvd. Police said the 31-year-old delivery man was approached on the third floor and dragged into a stairwell where he was assaulted and robbed of $350 and his cellphone.

Then, around 9:20 p.m., police said the suspects ordered Chinese food to be delivered to 1182 West Farms Rd. When the 27-year-old delivery man arrived, the suspects displayed a firearm and removed $83 and the victim's cellphone.

Police said neither delivery man suffered injuries as a result of the robberies.
