The Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus was moved off to the side of the road, Weinstein reported. Another vehicle may also have been involved.

Pierre works nearby and came out to see the aftermath.

"Once I came out, I saw her under the bus, standing under the tires, I mean laying down, wasn't really moving," he told 1010 WINS.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area during the evening rush.
