3/25 CBS2 Wednesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Morning everyone!

Hope you're have a good start to your day. We're still on the chilly side this morning with temps in the 20s. But by afternoon we will have some showers around ahead of a slowly moving front.

Temps will rise nicely today around 50 degrees. But they will really spike on Thursday with temps pushing into the 60s. Some temperature models are indicating a few 70-degree readings just outside our area.

But it's a one-day spike. We return to the reality of early spring, which usually means extreme temp swings. We drop into the 50s Friday, which is not bad. Some showers could linger into Friday as well.

This front is a slow mover, so expect the forecast to include some rumble of thunder -- another sign spring is trying to get here.

Check back in soon for the latest.
