3/26 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening, all.
Hope you're having a good day. We're peaking our temps right now in Manhattan with a reading of 56-59°. Down the New Jersey shore we saw a 65 degree reading between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. They had only a two-hour window of clearing but temps really peaked.
The real ending line of the cold front is back in the middle of Pennsylvania. A few strong storms are around and starting to percolate. Around 10 p.m. tonight a solid line of storm eyes the Tri-State. We could possibly see a little lightning, but we could see some gusty winds and a quick downpour.
Around dawn on Friday another round of rumbles comes through. After that, cold air is behind it. A few flakes could fly briefly during the morning commute.
