3/28 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

While the calendar DOES say that it's March 28th, it sure doesn't feel like it! Today felt more like early February with areas of snow especially over Long Island.

Expect things to wind down overnight with a few flurries possible...the big story will be the cold. We'll drop to 26 in NYC, with some teens in the 'burbs. Bundle up if you have Saturday night plans.

Tomorrow will definitely be the better of the two weekend days with plentiful sunshine and dry conditions...but it will still be chilly with highs only in the mid-40s. A breeze out of the north/northwest will make it feel properly chilly too.

Monday, we'll be back to seasonable temps with a high of 54 in NYC. There could be a few passing showers but it won't be a soaker.

Tuesday features a clear start with low 50s, but there could be some sprinkles/flurries by the evening. Wednesday looks pretty nice with sunshine and low/mid 50s.

Will that trend continue? Stay tuned to find out!
