3/29 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Happy Sunday, everybody!

Well, it sure will be a much better lookin' day than yesterday! While there will be a chill in the air with highs only in the mid 40s, there will be plentiful sun through the rest of the day. Hey, an improvement is an improvement! Tonight will feature clouds returning with temps bottoming out at 36 in NYC, and upper 20s/low 30s in the 'burbs.

Starting the new work/school week tomorrow, we'll be dealing with morning clouds and a few scattered showers. Some folks in the lower Hudson Valley and NW NJ could get some flurries too. Heading into the afternoon, though, expect a nice change: partly sunny skies with a high of 53!

Tuesday and Wednesday feature more 50s, with 53 on Tuesday and 54 Wednesday. Just for some perspective, 54 is the normal high temp this time of year ... incredible that we're so happy to just make it to our normal high! There could be a few stray showers once again Tuesday night, that's the bad news. The good news? The 50s last through the end of the week.

Have a great afternoon!
