Boomer & Carton: Deception Of Sorts, Jerry In The Box And An Update

David Ortiz made news a few days back after an article with his name attached to it appeared on The Players' Tribune. The tribune, a media platform founded by Derek Jeter, is designed to give a voice to athletes and ultimately strives to be "the voice of the game."

Before allowing Jerry Recco the freedom to do his thing, Boomer & Craig discussed the fact that athletes aren't exactly putting pen to paper to come up with the content on the website, which is kind of a problem.

Jerry Recco is certainly familiar with combating problems, due mainly to his penchant for making mistakes, but today the update maven was on his game (relatively speaking).  Unfortunately, over the weekend, Jerry's game was a little off as he participated in an alumni baseball game for his high school.

Jerry is a Lancers Hall of Famer, by the way, but his throwing arm let him down.

As for his update, it was pretty much what you expected, which is "radio gold."
