Report: Former Mayor Bloomberg Considering Run For Mayor Of London
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg is an American, but can he also be the mayor of London?
It's something that is being contemplated, according to The Sunday Times of London.
As 1010 WINS' Gary Baumgarten reported, Bloomberg would have to become a British citizen first. But his ex-wife and two daughters are all British citizens. The former mayor also has many investments across the pond.

Many New Yorkers were perplexed by the report claiming Bloomberg was considering a run for office.
"Mayor Bloomberg? I believe it would be an honor for England to experience such a gifted man," said Jose, adding he thinks Bloomberg's business savvy would be good for London.
"I don't think he should be mayor of anything to tell you the truth," said Tom. "Cause he closed up hospitals and fire departments here, and libraries."
One Londoner told Baumgarten she loves America, but not American politicians.
"I just don't think it would happen," said Jill. "That wouldn't happen."
