4/6 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning, folks! For all the early risers, make sure you bring an extra layer as we'll start off in the upper 30s and mid 40s - 45 in NYC. But sunshine through the day will warm us up to 63 in NYC, so we're lookin' good by afternoon! What we'll have is the perfect day for the start of Yankees baseball!

Sadly the good part of this forecast ends there. A stationary front will bring the chance for showers Tuesday PM through Friday...it won't be rainy the whole time, but clouds will prevail. Also, some of the showers could be heavy at times. Looks like Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, Wednesday night, and Friday night could have the heaviest showers.

Temps-wise, Wednesday is gonna be yucky...47 for the high, which is ten below normal! We're back into the 50s on Thursday, and back to 60 on Friday. Looks like we'll start drying out by Saturday morning, so we should be able to salvage the weekend!
