4/10 CBS2 Friday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning all!

Have a great Friday. It's going to be a chilly start again today, but hopefully this is the last day starting in the 30s for the year.

A warm front will surge into the areas afternoon and temps will start to spike. Inland, we're talking temps in the 70s! We're cooler along the coast, as the ocean temps are not even at 50 degrees yet.

We could see some severe weather as storms pass over the area. The NWS put us under a slight risk south of NYC.

After the front clears, we will wash out all of these clouds and bring in some much-needed high pressure. Sunny skies and temps in the 60s for both weekend days.
