Police: Man Exposed Himself To Girl, 15, In Selden, Long Island

SELDEN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was arrested Friday after police allege he exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl while she walked down a Selden, Long Island street.

Police said Arshad Syed Humzah was allegedly driving a 2010 Nissan north on Boyle Road and Strauss Avenue in Selden, when he allegedly pulled up to a 15-year-old girl walking along the roadway around 5 p.m.

Syed Humzah asked the girl if she needed a ride, police said. When she said no, he kept following her in his car and stopped a second time to ask for directions, police said.

When the girl approached Syed Humzah, he took out his penis, police alleged.

Police said the girl took note of Syed Humzah's license plate and went home, and notified her parents who told police.

Syed Humzah was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He was to be arraigned in Suffolk County First District Court at a later date.
