First Boomer talked bout getting some 'Twitter love' after his guy Buck Showalter was out-managed last night in the Bronx, then we heard all about the Yankees' 6-5 win over Buck's Orioles courtesy of Jerry Recco's sports update.
Suzyn Waldman was prominently featured for her description of the scene in the Yankees' dugout following Stephen Drew's game-changing, pinch-hit grand slam in the seventh inning. On a negative note, Brett Gardner injured his wrist -- which opened the door for Drew to shine -- and could miss some time.
Plus, the Mets manage just two runs but earn a win thanks to the pitching of Jacob deGrom, who saw to it the Mets home opener was a good one.
