Undercover NYPD Detective Accused Of Assaulting Driver In 2013 To Appear In Court
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An undercover NYPD officer accused of attacking a driver in Washington Heights is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Officer Wojciech Braszczok was among 11 bikers charged with gang assault.
In 2013, the driver pulled off the West Side Highway after hitting a biker during a mass motorcycle ride. The bikers chased him, pulled him from his SUV and beat him.
Nine of the bikers have taken plea deals.
Last month, the officer's lawyer refused a deal for one year behind bars.
