Police: 3 Injured In Union Square Subway Station Slashing
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – Police are searching for a suspect accused of a slashing incident at a Union Square subway station Friday morning.
Police say the incident began as a dispute between two groups of men near Webster Hall that continued on the subway platform at the token both near 14th Street and Fourth Avenue.
One man was slashed on the left side of the face, a second was slashed on his forehead and a third was stabbed in the back, police said.
Fire officials say they were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, CSB2's Janelle Burrell reported.
Subway service for uptown No. 4 and 6 trains are running express between Union Square and Grand Central.
