It's one thing to be a heartbreaker. It's another thing entirely when you know it. Jerry Recco falls under the latter and after warming up his vocal chords by singing a few notes, the update maven got after it.

He informed everyone what they will need to know to get through their day with regards to the world of sports, beginning with the Mets after Craig raved about the catch made by Juan Lagares, which helped the Mets beat the Braves 3-2, the Amazins' 10th straight win.  With their 12-3 record, the Mets are the best team in baseball, and Craig is already touting Lucas Duda as an NL MVP candidate. How 'bout that?!

Plus, the Yankees have their way with David Price and the Tigers to the tune of 13-4 in Detroit, Craig channels his 'inner-Suzyn' as Waldman had a little bit of a problem to deal with, the Rangers won 2-1 in an OT thriller to take a 3-1 series lead over the Penguins, Al Dukes continues to be inspired by the Blueshirts' success as the parody song artist paid tribute to last night's hero Kevin Hayes with a little help from the great Jimi Hendrix and some 'Purple Haze,' Craig counters with some 'Purple Rain' of his own, the NFL suspends Greg Hardy for 10 games for violating the league's personal conduct policy, Deron Williams wilts as the Nets come up short in Atlanta and Tim Duncan puts the Spurs on his back leading them to a win in LA over the Clippers...
