WATCH: It's Late April And It's Snowing

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It's April, right?

So why is it snowing?

One CBS2 viewer sent us a video through the CBS New York weather app of a snow squall in Port Jervis on Thursday -- a solid month into spring (video above).

Meanwhile, CBS2 photographer Greg Giglione captured video of more snow in Vernon, New Jersey (video below).

The cold weather will hang around through Thursday night, with lows ranging from 30 to 35 degrees in the Hudson Valley and dipping to about 36 in the city.

Friday should be windy and chill with a high of about 53 degrees.
