After learning that Jerry Recco likes free stuff and 'The' Eddie Scozzare has had long hair since 1994, it was update time, which these days has become a positive experience based on the success of both baseball locals and the playoff runs by the Rangers and the Islanders.

Jerry began with the Mets after they set the Braves packing with a 6-3 win at Citi Field, a home field where the Amazin's have gone 10-0 to start the season.  Overall the Mets have won 11 in a row, which has New York City abuzz, well that and the fact that the season's first Subway Series begins tonight in the Bronx.

The Mets' opponent in said Subway Series will be the Yankees, winners of seven out of 10 themselves after Thursday's 2-1 win on Detroit, which had Bombers reliever Dellin Betances all sorts of excited.

Plus, the Islanders lose to the Capitals 5-1 and now trail their best-of-seven series 3-2, some uncensored excitement stems from a Tampa Bay Lightning win, Steph Curry leads the Warriors all the way back to beat the Pelicans, Derrick Rose shines in the Bulls' double-overtime win in Milwaukee, LeBron leads the Cavs to victory in Boston and Tom Brady declines an invitation to visit the White House, while President Obama used the opportunity to drop a Deflategate joke...
