4/29 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis, CBS2 Meteorologist

It will feel nice and warm this afternoon as if May has already begun! Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s.

Some clouds will filter in tonight and our winds will shift to the north and east. Our low will be in the low 50s.

Extra cloud cover and a wind out of the north and east will keep temps down a bit tomorrow compared to today. There could be a stray shower inland, but overall it's looking like a dry day. Highs will only get into the low to mid 60s.

Friday's a similar story as we watch an offshore low try to make its way into our area, but ultimately fails to do so. Expect some cloud cover and a persistent wind out of the northeast. A high is expected in the upper 50s to near 60.

As of now, the start of your weekend looks pretty good with party to mostly sunny skies and highs returning to the mid to upper 60s.
