Austrian Baker's Sept. 11 Cake Stirs Up Controversy
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Here's one baker who knows how to cook up controversy.
An Austrian baker, reportedly upset with his government's governing coalition, baked up a cake showing the World Trade Center being struck by planes. Each tower of the cake is labeled with the parties involved in Austria's current ruling coalition, the SPO and OVP. The planes flying into the towers represent the opposition parties.
"My customers have predominantly reacted positively to my latest creation," Kienbauer told The Washington Post.
"Sometimes you have to present an exaggerated view of the situation if you really want to make a point," Kienbauer reportedly said.
