Friday's Open

The Rangers were dealt just a brutal loss in Game 1 of their second-round series against Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals Thursday night at the Garden, and Boomer was there to see the game-deciding goal, which was scored with just 1.3 second remaining.

Because of that, there was no denying the Blonde Bomber from talking about his beloved Blueshirts, getting a few things off his chest in the process. The puck drops Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for Game 2.

The other 'low-hanging fruit' on this Friday morning -- some might argue the only low-hanging fruit -- was the 2015 NFL Draft, which began last night and both the Jets (Leonard Williams - DE out of USC) and the Giants (Ereck Flowers - OT from Miami) got their guys.  Boomer and Craig provided their unique perspective on the happenings, before the focus shifted to the Mets after they dropped their third straight game.

All of that of course provided a nice backdrop for what is scheduled for this weekend, as the crew takes their act on the road to Vegas for the highly anticipated Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.
