Good evening folks! It's been a tremendous day across the area with many inland folks surging into the 70s! Coastal spots were considerably cooler due to a dominant sea breeze. We'll have partly cloudy skies overnight with comfortably cool temps dropping into the low 50s.

Tomorrow will be a superb finish to the weekend with plentiful sunshine and 70s once again! Expect a high of 76 in NYC and interior NJ/Lower Hudson Valley. Spots along the south shores of LI/CT and Jersey Shore will be cooler due to ocean breezes.

We expect a summer preview Monday and Tuesday with temps at or above 80 degrees - yes 80! Looks like 82 on Monday with blue skies, and 80 degrees on Tuesday before some afternoon thunderstorms roll into the region. For the rest of the week? Looks like sunshine and mild temps in the mid 70s!
