By no fault of the great Henrik Lundqvist, the Rangers find themselves trailing the Capitals 2-1 in their best-of-seven series, a far from enviable position.

Last night the Blueshirts were dealt another brutal one-goal loss in Washington where their inability to score was once again on display, falling 1-0, but Boomer is not discouraged -- he made that abundantly clear while opening up Tuesday's radio program. Boomer the Rangers fan could be heard saying all the right things with regards to his team's chances, but one had to wonder if even the Blonde Bomber believed the words coming out of his mouth.

As for the Boom's BFF, Craigy, he too was still reeling from a late night of sports viewing, which included watching the Rangers of course and keeping tabs on the Yankees, who also had trouble scoring, falling to R.A. Dickey and the Blue Jays up in Toronto by a score of 3-1. And there was the NBA playoffs, which saw the Bulls steal Game 1 in Cleveland and the Clippers stun MVP runner-up James Harden and the Rockets in Houston, despite not having Chris Paul running the show.
