5/6 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all,
Today is turning out right as we expected. A stream of clouds is sagging across the area stretching from western New York out beyond Rhode Island. It's actually an extension from a larger low pressure system that is plaguing the Midwest with tornado warnings right now.
Our front will drift offshore and lots of sunshine is expected starting tomorrow.
Friday through Sunday we could really be into some summertime heat. Depending on how the jet stream sets itself up, we could really crank some heat.
We do cool off next week with some rain, but we really need it. We are almost 3" low.
Check back in soon for the latest.
