Man Slashed Multiple Times On Upper West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A quiet section of the Upper West Side was awakened by red lights and sirens as police investigated a violent slashing.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday, a man in his 20s was slashed and stabbed multiple times after getting into some kind of dispute with another man at the corner of W. 73rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

The victim suffered wounds to his head, arm and back, CBS2's Janelle Burrell reported.

The victim was rushed to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
