Cops: Man Fatally Shot On Street In Jamaica, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was shot dead on a Queens street in broad daylight Saturday, cops said.

James Burnett, 54, of Brooklyn, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso around 12:45 p.m. on Sutphin Boulevard and 111th Avenue in Jamaica, police said. He was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.

There were no immediate arrests.
