5/16 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

We have some showers and thunderstorms out there today, but it is some much needed rain. We'll reach a high of 78 in the city, with a break in the action this afternoon. Another round of showers and storms moves through later this evening before tapering off overnight.

Tomorrow looks like mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon and evening. We warm up into the low 80s and kick the humidity up a notch.

Monday will be much cooler, with a high of just 70 in Central Park. Once again, there is a slight chance of a passing shower. Things remain unsettled on Tuesday, with a high of 72.
