This segment began with Craig bragging about his new Mets fedora hat (pictured), which eventually led to Boomer's BFF coming to grips with the fact that he has a fat face attached to the surface of his head and will probably never be a "helmet-food mogul."

Jerry Recco then picked up the pieces and delivered his latest informative and entertaining sports update, beginning with Noah Syndergaard's Citi Field debut, which was a good one and concluded with a score of 5-1.  The Amazin's will welcome the Cardinals to town Monday night for a four-game series with Matt Harvey on the hill.

The Yanks were not as fortunate, falling 6-0 to the Royals.  The Bombers have now lost five of their last six as they head to Washington for a two-game set with Bryce Harper and the Nationals.

Plus, Braves pitcher Shelby Miller takes a no-hitter to the limit, the Rockets come all the way back from a 3-1 series deficit to beat the Clippers in Game 7 and mention of Jim Nantz and Rory McIlroy leads to laughter up in the Allstate Studio.
