Video Of Starbucks Barista Yelling At Customer In Queens Goes Viral

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Video of a Starbucks barista screaming at a customer in Queens has gone viral.

The incident happened May 12 at the Starbucks on 86-51 Broadway in Elmhurst.

The video shows the barista, identified only as Melissa, arguing with a customer over a straw.

"Get out! You're not going to be served here," the employee yells at the customer at one point.

When other patrons try to come to the customer's defense, she tells them, "Nobody's talking to you. ... Bye!"

Other customers can be heard telling the barista that she should be fired.

The customer claims it all began after she ordered a drink and didn't hear another employee ask for her name.

The incident was recorded by a another customer and posted to Facebook.

The employee has been suspended, CBS2 reported.
