5/20 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening everyone,

It's been a milder afternoon thanks to some needed sun. This morning was a mostly cloudy start and definitely a cool one. Lots of 40s were seen across the board.

Milder temps hugged the coast, but most are into the 60s by midday.

We cool down again tonight into the 50s, and we can expect some clouds to filter in early morning ahead of some rain that will stay suppressed to the south. We will get clipped by showers down the Jersey Shore and I wouldn't be surprised to see some drops in the city.

It will be nicer north (Hudson Valley) with warmer temps.

Friday is warmer still, but a weak trough will increase the risk for a scattered shower or two.
