AC&C Weekly Pet Post: Meet Charlie, Alby and Marshmello

New York (CBSNewYork) CBSNewYork.com and 1010 WINS have teamed up with Animal Care & Control of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable animals looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where AC&C's mobile adoption unit is headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Meet Charlie, Alby and Marshmello.

Charlie (ID#: A1036585 - photo above) This handsome, approximately three-year-old boy is available for adoption at ACC's Staten Island Care Center (3139 Veterans Road West). Charlie's previous owner described him as friendly, affectionate, and playful with a medium activity level, and says he was gentle with the children he's lived with. We're also told he loves to receive baths and will jump in the tub on his own!

Alby (ID#: A1035283) Big beautiful Alby is about six years old and 23 pounds. A volunteer notes he "enjoys paw holding and head rubs. If you are looking for affection at all times of the day, this is the cat for you!" At his size, Alby qualifies for ACC's "More of Me to Love" adoption promo: the adoption fee for cats 15 pounds and up is their weight subtracted from $25. Meet this love bug at ACC's Brooklyn Care Center, 2336 Linden Boulevard.
