5/26 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening everyone!

Hope you're having a good one. Skies are filtering a few more clouds in this afternoon after an almost pure blue start to the day. This allowed the sunshine to heat us up near 90°.

However, those living east of NYC are experiencing cooler temps. The southwest wind does not warm up the east end when ocean temps are running in the upper 50s.

Storms are starting to percolate in the Hudson Valley. None have had any severe properties yet, but that could change soon. As more energy from the atmosphere closes in, the chances for storms goes way up.

It's a hot, summery week with increased humidity. Check back in soon for the latest to see how long this pattern changes.
