It was all about the Rangers on Wednesday morning, as you might have imagined. That theme carried over to Jerry Recco's update segment, which got underway with the guys talking about the Blueshirts' Game 6 dominance before turning it over to the aforementioned update maven known on the streets as J-Rec.
Jerry provided a detailed account of the action last night in Tampa after the Rangers skated circles around the Lightning to the tune of a 7-3 win, forcing a Game 7 on Friday night at "The World's Most Famous Arena." Accompanying Jerry's prepared material was some audible chocolate, courtesy of one Al "Hughes" Dukes, paying homage to a few select Rangers.
Plus, the Mets need an extra inning to down the Phillies 5-4, the Yankees used a big night at the plate from Mark Teixeira to down the Royals 5-1 and LeBron James and the Cavs make easy work of the Hawks in Game 4 (and the series) to advance the NBA Finals.
